    Hi All:

    ___Would anyone be interested in a group buy of SG-II’s by Christmas for $150.00 shipped? If we can put 10 together, I can have them drop shipped. I spoke with Ron at Linear-Logic (home of ScanGauge) about it just yesterday in fact and he said feel free. You are selling them by the boatload anyways ;)

    ___If you are interested, reply to this thread. Once 10 members have shown interest, I will set it up with Ron and the gang at ScanGauge. The full Linear-Logic SG-II warranty and packaging will be intact so there is no need to worry about that. I will setup a CleanMPG Pay-Pal account so you can pay by CC if that helps as well?

    ___In the future, I will try and bundle a purchase like this with a CleanMPG trinket if it were to actually move through my hands but more than likely it will be shipped directly from Linear-Logic. Expect to see more of this type of HW in the very near future.

    Put me on the list Wayne, I was about to call Ron, so this save me a call. My Kids wanted to go in and just give me the money for Christmas, and I already have a Pay-pal account.

    I can link it to the various other boards I am members of... but I think I'd have better results talking to some of my coworkers. I bet I could easily sell 2-4 of these things within the next few days. I'll get on it ;)

    ___That makes 3. When I get to 5, I will go ahead and just get the 10 moving. I am still working on the CleanMPG trinket part but I think it is doable as an added (well maybe just a laughable extra) bonus :D

    Hi Wayne -

    Count me in as buyer #4.

    I couldn't justify a new SG2 when the only difference from the original unit was aesthetic. But there are now enough functional improvements to entice me. That said, I'm really looking forward to evicting the giant SG1 from its perch on top of the cluster.

    Way to hook your customers, Linear Logic!

    Wayne, you can add one more to the list. One of my coworkers will be signing up to the site to get in on this group buy. I had talked him into getting one last week, but he wanted to wait until he got his next check to order it. The group buy price is just an added benifit :)

    I'll get him to send you a PM with his details.

    ___Your friend makes 6 and Michael’s 7 or 8. I have an E-Mail into Scangauge for payment at the “good price” :) They will ship me 10 and I will begin shipping them out once a payment from each of you arrives.

    ___Today I setup a new CleanMPG Paypal account for those that want to pay that way and will be working on a CC payment solution outside of Paypal for future items although that will probably not be viable for quite some time. Tom is trying to put something together for a form based entry for the future but that may not be ready until next year.

    ___That makes 8 or 9. I am sure with other members reading this thread that by tomorrow afternoon, we can close this out with at least 10 total. Any more is fine but we have to have a cutoff at some point to get the SG-II’s delivered to you all in a somewhat timely manner.

    ___I will contact Ron at Linear-Logic again in the morning and make the appropriate arrangements. I will then post back to this thread with what I will need via PM (Private Message) so you all will have your SG-II’s delivered by late next week or early the week following god willing.

    My one friend is out. He said that $150 is still a little steep right before Christmas. I haven't talked to my co-workers yet, so I might still be good for one. But that's a big maybe.

    Cool--it would be really nice to have it by the 21st when we make the annual trek "over the river and through the woods...", but if it's not here that's ok.

    Let me know the Pay Pal stuff when it's set up.

    Same here just let put up the paypal info and I'll get payment sent. Can we get an extra cord also for an additional fee?

    Curious, are you wanting the extra cord for a laptop connection? In that case, I am interested also.

    No the extra cord would used when I want to read the codes in another car or use the SG in another car. I'm getting the new SG for my Dad for a Christmas present. My SG is wired into my truck and the cable is not easily removed for use in another car. If you want to connect to a laptop I believe the second cat5 connection uses a standard patch cord. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

    The interconnectivity for downloading data on a computer is not yet working on the scangauge.... although it is in the works.
