Yeah, I figured my ol' cookies wouldn't work under a new password storage scheme, so I'm in the process of doing the reset. . You could keep copies of the dancing bananas anywhere else on the net and just point to them -- in fact you could probably drop in an image tag to the ones over here on CMPG, just note down where they are. Because, y'know, once something is on the net it's like peeing in the pool -- you can't take it back. . The best part? although I have to go check everything ... looks like all the thread links in my webpages still work, albeit via a redirect hop. *That* rocks, because it doesn't mean I have to scramble to change all those index files. Once I get back in I'll be doing the "we're not worthy" dance at Danny et al.. . _H*
I don't know if this was the only change, but moving to vBulletin was a major change and IMHO, a very good move.
