For the seller, that is a suitable price. From the buyer's standpoint, something more like $9-10k would be nice. The main improvement of 2002 over 2001 was the optional availability of side air bags, so it would be good to know if this vehicle has them. A complete maintenance/service history is always desireable in used car purchases. I urge Prius buyers to confirm good condition of the transaxle fluid before paying. Big fan of the classic Prius here. If this size/design car fits your needs, it is reasonable to expect many more happy miles from it. DAS
