Trip to Madison was a success. Car worked flawlessly, yielding about 73 mpg (fcd) A/C on 90% of the time. Partial fill Tuesday AM , Wheaton IL was 1.832 gallons. I assumed (incorrectly) that fuel would be cheaper in rural WI. price in Wheaton = $3.429 price in Whitewater WI = $3.549, 9.378 gallons Kelly and I got along famously. Sure, it can be awkward in a hotel room with separate beds, but we've been in this situation before, so it wasn't really awkward. In the 33 years I have known her, were a couple for eight years and friends for 25. Concert was outstanding. Now it's back to work Thursday, to finish up my grueling two-day workweek.
