I'm just thrilled I could stretch that last tank as far as I did !

Two FCD displays for early June.
Upper image is the 2026 Chevy Trax (1.2T 6AT) showing 45.4 mpg on the FCD on the trip to work on Friday 6/5. Sunny and 81F and no real wind.

Lower image is the 2023 Elantra hybrid showing 95.2 mpg on the FCD on the trip home from my brother's house on Sunday 6/7 in the evening at 82F and no wind. Very light traffic so I was able to really drop the speed on the highway and keep the engine off for longer periods of time.

    Good job, Chris !

Today, it rained cats and dogs on the way to work. I couldn't get over 52 mpg on the highway portion.
Got up to 55.5 on the last four miles of slow roads.
Coming home it rained most of the way, but not nearly so hard.
And of course, that route is slower (no tollway).

    Tank = 216.9 miles , fcd = 74.2 mpg. 470 miles remaining.

I've been using a 1.025 multiplier on miles, and fcd =.....well, fcd.
    Maybe 5% error?

Saturday went to Leeds for a stag day - my eldest daughter is getting married later this month and my future son-in-law invited me to a day of activities.
Darts first at The Flight Club then drove to Hazlewood Activity Center for axe throwing, air rifle shooting and quad biking. Back to Leeds for an all you can eat sushi & grill at Blue Sakura then home.
    Great day, very enjoyable:

Is there a certain minimum for number of beers before throwing axes ?
    Sounds like fun.
Today was MUCH better than Monday. Actually, this is Friday for me because I'm
    all done for the week.
AM : 72 deg F , light wind, but in my favor. 33.1 miles, fcd = 78.6 mpg.
    PM : 87 deg F, 33.3 miles, fcd = 84.9 mpg.

    Tank - 283.3 miles, fcd = 75.9 mpg , 421 miles remaining.

I don't return to work until Wednesday the 17th. Jackie is coming
on the train tomorrow. There will probably a number if shorter trips (8-15miles)
in the next week. I'll try to keep the numbers up there.

She NEVER makes fun of my driving style.

My brother, on the other hand, can't be a passenger for more than half a mile
    before he starts criticizing LOUDLY.

Today, went to Brodsworth Hall but were “politely” informed dogs weren’t allowed on the site so drove to Cusworth Hall instead and went for a 3 mile walk and lunch there instead (their loss ):

Went to get my older road bike back from a bike shop where it’s had a new rear cassette, derailleur, chain, bottom bracket and brakes - hopefully it will make it easier to climb hills at our holiday home in North Yorkshire!
