Obviously no driving but managed a 30 mile e-bike ride yesterday up some serious hills in Crete to a dam/reservoir - 3096 feet of climbing - 1 hr 53’ riding time - excellent

Did another e-bike ride in Crete - 38 miles - fantastic scenery and hardly any traffic .
Back home after flight, set off just after midnight, faster than normal (max 68mph) on highway section then back to normal on last stretch.
Later today went to pick up our dog from our daughter’s via a supermarket for a few provisions:
    8 Drives

    kWh Used 21.49 kWh
    Wh/Mile 267 Wh

The car lost 3.57 miles of range while parked for the week - pretty good

Yesterday I left the car outside overnight. I almost never do that. I think
I figured "it's not going to freeze tonight, I won't have frost on my windows.".
And there was no frost. However, I didn't consider dew/condensation.
I needed so much front defrost that the engine never shut off on the first six miles
of my commute. At that point I'm getting on I-88 where the engine never shuts off
( excepting a few IL hills).

Today it was 42 deg F in Naperville, 43 in Elk Grove.

    Wind NNW 8

    33.2 miles, fcd = 57.7 mpg. Ouch !

Tank is approx 67 mpg. Goodbye, summer.

    Edit :
Trip home started at 57 deg F.
    32.9 miles, fcd = 78.1 mpg.
I may have to fill up on the way home tomorrow, but
I hope to stretch it until Sat AM.
And my (only) car is in the garage. :)

Okay, maybe I went a little bit slower when I was on the surface streets,
to maximize SOC. But got to work only one minute later.
    33.2 miles, fcd = 69.6 mpg.

Think I'll stop at Bubblehouse after work today. I only go to a brewery
about once a month these days, and I no longer seek out new breweries.
Bubblehouse is right on my way home from work. And the owner always remembers my name.

    Edit:Trip home

    about 52 deg F , 33.7 miles, fcd = 69.8 mpg

Tank is at 68.2 mpg , 15 miles remaining. I can fill up in the morning.
