Much better efficiency this time as I minimised the battery preconditioning by not navigating directly to the supercharger straight away. When I first put the 295 mile route in, it worked out a couple of stops and started pre-heating the battery immediately, with over 60 miles to go! - high kW usage no thank you, I didn’t need fast, had plenty of range and not in a rush!

Hit 50,000 miles on the odometer on the way home and in a moment of irrational exuberance, I’ve ordered a ‘24 Performance Model 3 (highland)

 

Slight problem, had a call from the sales center and it’s in Belfast, Northern Ireland - I may have to cancel and look for one on the mainland! I’d have to fly over, collect car, catch an 8 hour ferry then long drive home.

 

I know what you’re saying Edwin, I looked at all the alternatives and ended up sticking .
I’ve got a blue one instead! Picking it up Saturday.
