Wayne Gerdes – CleanMPG – April 1, 2025 2025 Porsche Macan EV Porsche Cars North America announced that Q1 retail deliveries in the United States totaled 18,884 vehicles, up 40.6 percent over the 13,429 sold during the same quarter a year ago. Of course, much of the volume is pull ahead purchases as US consumers were attempting to get ahead of the Trump tariffs. While demand was robust, Q2 will be a much more revealing number. The Macan led the quarter’s record performance with 7,486 SUVs sold, up 32.0% over the 5,671 sold in Q1 of 2024. The Macan Electric accounted for a very respective 44.6% of those sales. 23% of Porsche vehicles sold in Q1 were fully electric. Taycan sales totaled 1,019 this quarter, down 18.3% below the 1,247 sold during the same quarter in 2024.
