GMs luxury brand is set to add a second, 3-row all-electric SUV! Wayne Gerdes – CleanMPG – Nov. 12, 2024 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ EV Following on the heels of the much-anticipated 2025 Escalade iQ, Cadillac is adding another choice for EV drivers with the debut of the 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ, a luxury three-row SUV. 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ Drivetrain The VISTIQ is powered by a 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, dual motor AWD system supplied from a 102-kWh Li-Ion pack using a blended graphite anode. That is enough power to not only move the 6,326 lb monster to 60 in just 3.7 sec., but it can also easily tow its 5,000 lb tow capacity. Its 102-kWh pack would probably allow an owner with maybe 150-mile range while towing that amount of mass vs its estimated 300-miles of AER unloaded. This is not the upcoming Escalade iQ with its 200-kWh pack, 460+ miles of AER, and 8,000 lb tow cap by any means. Then again, with a starting MSRP of $78,790, incl. D&H, it costs a lot less than the iQs $130,000, also incl. D&H charge. The VISTIQ can be charged from 0 to 100% in approximately 14-hours on a home or public 7.7 kW L2, 9-hours on a 11.5 kW L2, or approximately 6-hours with the optional 19.2 kW L2. Unfortunately, when attached to a DCFC’er, the system is built upon the Blazer’s 400V/peak 190 KW architecture so expect just over an hour from flat to full or just under 45-minutes from 5 to 80%. 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ Design The VISTIQ has a swept-back windscreen and the brands signature Black Crystal grille, and vertical lamps front and rear. D-pillar sail panels tapers with thinner pillars at the bottom that widen toward the rail. Moving inside, the VISTIQ provides three rows of std. luxury, comfort, and technology. Just like the first and second row, the third row includes padded armrests, smartphone storage, cupholders, and USB chargers. Maximum legroom (in.) for the Front - 43.1”, Second - 40.2”, and Third - 30.6” <-- Not quite what we would like to see. Total passenger volume is a huge 161 cu ft with cargo volumes behind the first, second, and third row is 80.2, 43, and 15.2 (cu ft) respectively. This is a great looking interior. A unique storage solution like Rivian’s pass-through compartment is located underfloor. A 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio system with Dolby Atmos is standard as is GMs Super Cruise with three years of OnStar connected service. 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ Chassis The VISTIQ can be upgraded with an Adaptive suspension, Active Rear Steering, std. 21” or optional 22” or 23” alloys, plus a Road Noise Cancellation system. 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ Safety Standard safety and driver assistance technologies include Blind Zone Steering Assist, Side Bicyclist Alert, Forward Collision Alert, OnStar Automatic Crash Response. Optional safety equipment includes Night Vision. 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ Trims At launch, VISTIQ will be offered in Luxury, Sport and Premium Luxury trims. Coming in summer 2025, VISTIQ will launch with a Platinum trim. VISTIQ will be sold globally, including in the U.S. and Canada, with production starting in early 2025 at GM’s Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in TN.
