Any 1400 foot "hills" like we have here near the Cascade Mountains?

Summer is over. 61F this morning with light wind from the east, and ended at 59.5 on the fcd over 18.3 miles.
Colder air is part of it. The other part is the school buses here have cameras on the driver side that take pictures and send tickets if you drive past when the red lights are flashing, so people panic-stop if they see a bus slowing to a stop. It's comical to watch sometimes although it does make the commute longer.

That is interesting. The UK isn't just a flat island, restricted only to the shore-lines. Altho I must say, some of the daily legs of the Tour de France bicycle race, do have total elevation gains & losses in excess of 14,400 feet(more?). Yes, those bicycle riders are monsters!
The scenic North Cascades(not near as high as the Rocky or Sierra Mountains) National Park car tour loop, returning on Highway 2 to Everett, has total ups & downs of 12,000+ feet.

I got back home with 24% remaining after driving 230 miles after charging on Thursday night to 90%. That works out at a potential 348 miles 100% to 0% - not too bad after 3.5 years!

    Here’s where I’m at:

Since last charge - 230 miles at 5.29 Miles per kWh
    194 Wh/mi equates to 5.15 Mi/kWh over the last 4825 miles :D
My long term average is 4.9 Mi/kWh over 38,376 miles :)

I love your love & use of both the Honda Fit & Hyundai Elantra. Its a bit like the difference between my manual Hyundai Accent & my auto Elantra.

Today it was 55 deg F in Naperville and 57 in Elk Grove when I arrived at work.

    Wind SS 7

    35.2 miles, fcd = 53.8 MPG

Went to the Paramount Theater Sunday with my friend Mary Beth. We
saw The Full Monty. I've been to many productions there, and they
were all excellent. Great singing, dancing, costumes, and a 13 piece orchestra.
    I love this place.

Look like we're a little warmer over here by the ocean... Started at 60F climbing to 62F during the drive, and 63.6 mpg over 18.3 miles on the fcd.
Gas prices around here seem to be falling fast. BJs showed 2.849 if you use their credit card to pay and 2.949 if you don't. Most other stations are in the 2.959 to 3099 range. A great time to fire up the Hellcat and toss a brick on the accelerator.

Altho our latitude Salish Sea(Puget Sound) is probably way higher than yours, our 61degF is close to yours. Misting right now. Lowest state price is only 2 cents less than last week's, now at $3..089 per gallon. But that is over in Eastern Washington. Our lowest local price is still hanging terribly high at $4.199, a $1.35 MORE than your price.

PS.....Having some Vegetarian Bush's Baked Beans this morning. Not quite as tasty as other Bush's varieties. Added some diced tomatoes & ketchup tho, & the Vegetarian is improved.

It's very good I don't have to pay for the weapon(not using gasoline by walking). Plus, I've walked 1200 miles in a pair of women's tennis shoes that have been my most durable tenni-runners ever & they only cost a dollar. The shoe coverings & strings wear like iron, tho the soles have gotten thin & I can't walk on rocky paths anymore. One durable tenni(more hundreds of miles) I got cheap is taking over the rocky paths & another cheap tenni is my most comfortable tenni ever. Oh, yeah. I also got brand new spotless tenni shoes.....out of a garage can. What more luxury can a person ask for!

The only ones I'd avoid are the ones specifically designed to women's alleged ankle/foot alignment differences from men's characteristics. But if they're comfortable, sure, why not. And now for a sexist comment, you're more likely to find women's shoes in larger quantities and discarded sooner than men's shoes. My few pairs of shoes stay with me until they fall apart. I won't go into my wife's shoe habits. ;)
