Hi All: Still no Mercedes release or a Tesla US sales breakout but I thought this infographic was even more interesting despite not being entirely focused on a quarterly sales release. Wayne
Hi All: KBB released a US Tesla model sales breakout for Q1 of 2024. And what good is a Tesla story without a 2 year stock chart? Wayne
Thank you, Wayne. Just wonderful. Has the "US/World" EV sales percentage been increasing or decreasing, over the years? Might a slightly higher or lower "US/World" EV percentage be expected for Q1 of 2024, if past "US/World" EV percentages has been increasing or decreasing, & extrapolated to Q1 of 2024? Maybe a re-guesstimate on the overall "US/World" percentage might also be done, due to the Chevy Bolt, Hyundai & KIA battery pack fiascos.
Hi Litesong: Slightly lower due to the Tesla fall off but the number of other OEMs EVs is really ramping up. I posted this on FB a few days ago... Cadillac Lyriq US sales up almost 500% in the Q1 vs the year ago quarter. Chevrolet Silverado EV US sales of 1,061 in the Q1 are just beginning from nothing vs the year ago quarter. Toyota USA bZ4X US sales are up 11.7% in Q1 vs the year ago quarter. Lexus RZ US sales are up 766% in Q1 vs the year ago quarter. Ford Motor Company Mach-E and Lightning US sales are up 77.3% and 80.4% respectively in Q1 vs the year ago quarter. Nissan Ariya Q1 US sales are up 44.8% vs the year ago quarter. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Q1 US sales are up 18.9% vs the year ago quarter. The Ioniq 6 reached 3,646 sales in Q1 vs nothing a year ago. Kia America EV6 Q1 US sales are up 19.7% vs the year ago quarter. The EV9 reached 4,007 sales in Q1 vs nothing a year ago. So no, they, EVs, will not dominate the industry this year. 20 years from now? I would not be pretending I know what sales would be like in 2045 but I can bet there will be far fewer ICE only vehicles produced vs HEVs, PHEV,s and especially EVs. As it is, ICE-only vehicles reached their peak 7 years ago. Whoops, someone did not know this.

Hi All: I think I am finished with the edits and additions. If anyone sees anything out of sorts, wrong colors for negative or positive or anything else, let me know. A post without a pic lacks connection. Here is a pic of my favorite cookies. Wayne
Oh, oh, oh yeah! Thank you. I'm going to have a spoonful of peanut butter. No cookie or bread crumbs for me. Not even jelly or jam. Just a spoonful of peanut butter.....maybe 2. PS....Oh, that is so good. Actually, its NOT peanut butter. Its almond butter. Love nut-butters too. & Adam's Old Fashioned Peanut Butter. Yes, no edits or additions! Oh, I guess this Post Script was an addition. Sorry. PS I.....I had 3 spoonfuls of almond butter....in addition for another addition. PS II....Someone has to make up for Wayne's vow of no edits & additions. PS III....I would post a picture so there would be a connection.....except a picture of me with almond butter all over my face would be a dis-connection.
