[IMG] Early in 2024, sales are proving to be modest.

    Hi All:

Kia Georgia Begins Assembly of the 2025 Kia EV9

Thursday marked a historic milestone at Kia’s West Point Georgia’s assembly plant as the brand celebrates the start of assembly of the all-electric 2025 EV9 three-row SUV. The vehicle was driven off the assembly line by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and James Watson, Kia Georgia’s VP of Production. Depending on the Li-Ion pack sourcing, the Kia EV9 "may" qualify for the full $7,500 Fed Tax Credit when it becomes available this summer.

This is the culmination of a more than $200 million expansion that has added approximately 200 new jobs at the plant and the flexibility to assemble both EVs and the company’s traditional products on the same assembly line.

Kia Georgia has been producing vehicles since the first Kia rolled off the assembly line on Nov. 16, 2009.

There we go again. The $7500 tax credit may be available to rich people buying big KIA EVs made in the USA. But of course, both KIA & Hyundai make no overtures that would allow poorer people to also get the $7500 Fed Tax Credit if they almost had enough money to buy the smallest & least expensive KIA or Hyundai EV's made in the USA.
& as I've stated many times, the $7500 Fed Tax Credit was never designed for really poor people to be able to afford even the "cheapest" KIA or Hyundai EV made in the USA.

    Hi Litesong:

I am not going to say the EV3 will be made in North America or not but most of the lower income earners in our country do not pay $7,500 in Fed taxes anyway.

Yes, yes, yes. Rich billionaires(who previously & in the future, steal from the poor) & WEALTHY re-pubic-lick-uns made sure to make a $7500 TAX CREDIT, instead of a $7500 REBATE, so poor people CAN'T HAVE IT. Grudgingly, b&r's give the less poor a TAX CREDIT, so b&r's can brag how much they help the poor (even if they only help the less poor).

This is obvious. But, I love reminding the b&r's how miserable they really are.
