The Texas wildfires are up to 1.3+ million burned acres. Altho rain isn't predicted, a lessening of the winds & a bit of cooling may help the fire-fighters get the fires under control.

Fritch, Texas Fire Chief Zeb Smith has died in a building fire unrelated to the Texas wildfires. He was a first responder & entered the building in search of other victims & never escaped the fire. He with other fire fighters had been fighting the wildfires for a week. So, it can't be said, that the wildfires didn't have cause in the building fire death.
