The styling looks a little fussy and awkward here, but in a dark colour on the showroom floor, it's gorgeous. This would be my first choice if I was in the EV market.
Hyundai has been offering some deals under the table on the Ioniq line to try to stir sales. My man-on-the-inside at a chain of dealerships reports that the Ioniq 6 is - or at least was - leasing out cheaper than the Sonata. So returning Sonata lessees, finding out that the new lease for the 2023 is a whole lot more money, were being flipped into an Ioniq 6 to get them to a lower payment. It's interesting to note the Sonata volume is down by about the same number as the Ioniq 6 reported sold. It's a win for buyers who have the means to charge the cars because you're getting a lot more technology at a lower monthly payment.
I hate one spoiler on car backs. Two spoilers are double squared more hateful. Not only hateful, but just plumb silly....& wasteful.... & more silly. Spoilers, spoil!
