I was just alerted to a COVID spike the past 2 weeks in MA. Be careful out there...

Today , 61 deg F in Naperville, 59 inElk Grove,

    Wind N 9 (ouch)

    33.4 miles, fcd =53.1 x .942 = 50.0 MPG

I leave for Michigan early Friday morning. Getting
my tire ( slow leak) fixed tonight at Discount Tire.
My gas station with free air has a bad nozzle and it lets
air out instead of putting it in. I topped it off at home yesterday.
    with my bicycle pump.

Found out why there were so many fish. Met a fishery’s officer, who said they had released thousands of pink salmon down river just the day before. He was happy to see that the pinks were healthy & moving up river well.

I did 38 flights of stairs on the Stairmaster at
Planet Fitness. Pumping up a tire from 35 to 40 psi is easy.
    But slow.

It's all body mechanics and posture. If it helps, you could do it lying down. :D

Just lying down & getting up, might put my back out. That is why I was so surprised with some of my long walks.:oops:

Hey, work didn’t kill me, so I’m way ahead of the curve. Matter of fact, 8.9 miles ahead. :p;)

Good body mechanics and posture for that task depend on the pump being of reasonable length. I'm having a hard time picturing an effective way to do it while lying down.

I can picture it. Tire rotated so the valve is where you want it, lie parallel to the side of the car perhaps chest level for the pumping action across the chest, like playing an accordion. Left side or right side according to preference, or switch sides when one side tires.
