    Hi All:

At this year’s NY Auto Show, Hyundai’s IONIQ 6 was awarded the prestigious World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle and World Car Design of the Year by an international jury for its unique design and decent all-electric range.

A jury of 100 automotive journalists from 32 countries chose IONIQ 6 from the top three finalists, all launched in 2022. This is Hyundai’s second straight triple honors at the World Car Awards. Last year, the jury named IONIQ 5 the winner in these same categories.

The IONIQ 6 is the second model in Hyundai’s dedicated all-electric IONIQ lineup. Built on the brand's Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) architecture with 800V, DCFC’ing capabilities allowing a 10 to 80 percent fast charge in just 18 minutes.

With a drag coefficient of just 0.21, the IONIQ 6 is one of the most aerodynamic and energy efficient EVs on the market. When configured with 18” alloys and tires, the RWD SE trim ($45,500 + D&H) provides a reasonable 361-miles of AER.

IONIQ 6 includes Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) tech, driver assistance systems and advanced connectivity with over-the-air (OTA) software updates. The spacious and ergonomic interior takes full advantage of the lengthy 116 in. wheelbase.

Hyundai just announced plans to become one of the world’s top 3 EV manufacturers by 2030 through the combined sales of Hyundai, Kia and Genesis EVs.

The Group announced plans to significantly expand the annual EV production in Korea to 1.51 million units and global volume to 3.64 million units by 2030. To enable such plans, Hyundai Motor and Kia, alongside with Hyundai MOBIS, plan to invest $18-billion USD) in the EV sector domestically.

In the US, Hyundai plans to introduce 17 new BEV models by 2030, including Genesis luxury brand models.

Hyundai's IONIQ 6 Named Finalist for North American Car of the Year

Los Angeles, CA – Hyundai’s IONIQ 6 has been named a finalist for the coveted 2024 North American Car of the Year Award (NACTOY) at this years LA Auto Show.

The IONIQ 6 has received numerous accolades since its debut, including 2023 World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle, and World Car Design of the Year, as well as Car and Driver’s EV of the Year. In addition, IONIQ 6 is the highest-rated EV car in Consumer Reports and its all-electric powertrain has been recognized as having one of the 2023 Wards 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems.

    2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6

The IONIQ 6 is equipped with an ultra-fast 800-volt/350kW charging capability that can charge the battery from 5 to 80 percent in as little as 18 minutes on a 350kW or higher DCFC.

    Hi All:

The multiple award winning 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 6 just reached a really affordable level. ;)

Customers considering a 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 6 via Cash purchase between 02/21 and 02/29 when taken from dealer stock can pick one up for the following:

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Pricing for the next few days.

    361/316-mile range RWD/AWD SE - $42,450 + $1,150 DH - $7,500 = $36,100/$39,600
    305/270-mile range RWD/AWD SEL - $45,250 + $1,150 D&H - $7,500 = $38,900/$43,400
    305/270-mile range RWD/AWD Limited - $50,150/$53,650 + $1,150 D&H - $7,500 = $43,800/$47,500

The 2024 RWD Ioniq 6 SE in RWD trim offers a 361-mile range can be picked up for $36,100 + TTL. Again, while not a Hot Deal, it shows Hyundai the best price of any full range EV - > 300-miles of AER plus really really really fast charging. At this price, I would forgo the 310-mile 2024 Tesla Model Y LR ($39,730 + TTL) with its $7,500 Fed TC or the 341-mile 2024 Tesla Model 3 LR ($49,380) since the Ioniq 6 offers more than both. More range, faster charging, better appearance, and better infotainment. Except now, it offers more for an even lower price!
