russian mad-man putin invades Ukraine. putin’s mad-man russian propaganda sets new record, stating that vast numbers of Russians agree about mad-man putin’s invasion, 50% of Russians saying the US caused the Russians invasion of Ukraine. Of course, quick street surveys of russions have completely different information, with many Russians against the invasion.
The US & Europe wring their hands, while democratic Ukraine becomes part of totalitarian putin’s new glorious empire.
Meanwhile, M-29 fighter-bombers bomb in Ukraine…..Ukrainian citizens have been wounded & killed AND one ruple has collapsed to 0.012 US dollars.

AH…… putin cry’s Woe is russia…….we HAD to invade Ukraine, because of NAZI influence (even tho Zelenskyy-President of Ukraine, is Jewish)…… putin says, we have so many enemies……lots of crocodile tears. putin is in great mad-man stress.

PS…..Some king-pins & money-manipulators have stopped the ruple from plunging further down the slopes of mad-man putin’s cascade into insanity.

Like everyone around the world, Toyota is watching the ongoing developments in Ukraine with great concern for the safety of people of Ukraine and hopes for a safe return to peace as soon as possible.

As a company with operations in Ukraine and Russia, our priority in dealing with this crisis is to ensure the safety of all our team members, retailer staff, and supply chain partners.

We are also monitoring global developments and will make necessary decisions as required.

The business status of Toyota’s European operations is as follows:

Toyota in Ukraine (sales and after sales operations; 37 retail locations) has stopped all activities as of 24 February.

Toyota in Russia (sales and after sales operations; 168 retail locations; and one plant in St Petersburg manufacturing RAV4 and Camry models for the Russian market mainly): Toyota Motor Russia will stop production at its St-Petersburg plant from 4 March and has stopped imports of vehicles, until further notice, due to supply chain disruptions.

Toyota Supports Humanitarian Efforts to Help Ukraine Emergency Situation

Like everyone around the world, Toyota is watching the ongoing developments in Ukraine with great concern for the safety of people of Ukraine and hopes for a safe return to peace as soon as possible.

Toyota has started to provide humanitarian assistance to those who are suffering. This includes direct assistance to Toyota's Ukrainian employees and their families and to Ukrainian refugees, as well as corporate donations up to approximately 2.5 million euros.

Support for Ukrainian employees and their families

More than 1700 Ukrainian employees work in Toyota's European entities, mainly in countries neighboring Ukraine, such as the production plants in the Czech Republic (TMMCZ) and Poland (TMMP). Since the early days of the conflict, Toyota employees at TMMCZ and TMMP, with company support, set up transportation, shelter, and access to medical services, as well as administrative support to families of Ukrainian employees forced to flee Ukraine.

A Toyota Humanitarian Aid Fund was established to provide relocation support, including accommodation and meals, to Ukrainian employees and their families. Employees of Toyota throughout Europe can make donations to this fund, which will be matched by the company.

Support for the affected populations in Ukraine and countries in the region

Donations to the Red Cross and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency - Toyota Motor Corporation (Japan) will donate 500,000 euros to UNHCR.

In addition to the Toyota Humanitarian Aid Fund, employees of Toyota's European entities (national distributors, manufacturing plants, and other support companies) are encouraged to donate through a pan-European fundraising campaign to either the Red Cross or UNHCR.

For donations by employees to either the corporate fund or the Red Cross and UNHCR, every euro donated through the campaign will be quadrupled through a corporate donation of maximum two million euros by a group of Toyota's European entities: Toyota Motor Europe, Toyota Financial Services, Toyota Insurance Management, Toyota Connected Europe, and KINTO Europe.

In-kind donations and employee pro-bono activities

Toyota employees are also volunteering their support for the provision of temporary housing in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and other countries, and to provide language interpretation for refugees.

To further enable the above, Toyota Motor Europe (TME) is allowing up to 40 paid hours per member to participate in these activities via its pro-bono volunteering program.
Several employees of Toyota in Europe are also working full-time to help organize a scheme matching refugees with hosts and on logistics.

    Hi All:

After todays passionate speech by Volodymyr Zelensky to the US Congress and the $800-million in additional lethal aid including the man portable switchblade hunter/killer mini drone, I would not want to be camped in a Russian Main Battle Tank, Russian BMP, Russian SAM vehicle, or assigned to a Russian Howitzer Gun battalion. There is going to be a lot more Russian metal scrap if the Ukrainians hold the Russian pricks off as they have the past 3-weeks once the next gen of weapons are in their hands.

In fact, I think the Ukrainians are now pissed enough to kick the Russian Separatists out of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions along with the whole of Crimea with a gun shoved up those Russian separatists respective @$$es. If any of those separatist region citizens carry one of those POS Russian passports, their ass is being walked on a 100-mile Trail of Tears back to the Russian border with no remorse after what the Russians have done to the population of Ukraine.

    The Ukrainian Stamp

Ukraine introduced the design for the above new postage stamp that memorializes a now-famous battle cry rallying the country in its fight against the Russian invasion.

The stamp — called "Russian warship, go f*** yourself!" — references an interaction on Snake Island.

The Ukrainian Postal Service (Ukrposhta) announced the stamp design after holding a public vote on social media for a postage stamp competition meant to commemorate the soldiers who defended a military outpost on the island last month.

The artist of the winning design, Borys Grokh, told Ukrposhta he was so impressed by the soldiers' refusal to surrender that he decided to submit an illustration to lift morale.

And any of the right wing apologists for Putin through the last administration, you can go F yourselves too once this is all settled and done. My wife is Ukrainian.

Nissan’s priority has always been safety and livelihood of people, and the Nissan Cares fund will contribute to wider efforts to support the people of Ukraine as well as helping affected employees and their families.

Through the fund Nissan will donate 1 million Euros to the Red Cross and other non-profit organizations to support ongoing emergency activities that provide lifesaving assistance and essential supplies to families and children at this time. Where it can help, the company is also prepared to donate vehicles.

Nissan has also seeded this special fund with 1.5 million Euros to provide financial stability and ongoing support for Nissan employees and their families who have been impacted by the crisis. VW has received the news about the war in Ukraine with great dismay and shock. Volkswagen continues to hope for a cessation of hostilities and a return to diplomacy. We are convinced that a sustainable solution to the conflict can only be found on the basis of international law.

Against the background of the Russian attack on Ukraine and the resulting consequences, the Group Board of Management of Volkswagen AG has decided to stop the production of vehicles in Russia until further notice. This decision applies to the Russian production sites in Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod.

Vehicle exports to Russia will also be stopped with immediate effect.

With the extensive interruption of business activities in Russia, the Executive Board is reviewing the consequences from the overall situation, during this period of great uncertainty and upheaval.

Porsche is donating €1 million to provide emergency aid to people affected by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine

Due to the current situation in Ukraine, Porsche has decided to donate €1 million. Of that amount, €750,000 will go to the UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe e.V. (UN Refugee Aid) – a long-standing partner of the Volkswagen Group delivering crucial practical support on the ground. The money is being forwarded directly to the UNHCR – the UN Refugee Agency – which has been active in Ukraine since 2014.
A further €250,000 will be donated to the Ferry Porsche Foundation, which focuses on supporting children and young people in particular. The foundation plans to use the donation to help SOS Children's Villages, for example.

In addition, an internal appeal will provide Porsche employees with a coordinated and effective way to make their own donations to the UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe.

In a show of respect for those hit hardest by the events in Ukraine, Porsche is currently reducing communication on its channels to a minimum.

Shell Announces Intent to Withdraw From Russian Oil and Gas

Shell announced its intent to withdraw from its involvement in all Russian hydrocarbons, including crude oil, petroleum products, gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a phased manner, aligned with new government guidance. As an immediate first step, the company will stop all spot purchases of Russian crude oil. It will also shut its service stations, aviation fuels and lubricants operations in Russia.
Following government statements this week, I want to set out our position clearly. Unless directed by governments, we will:
    • Immediately stop buying Russian crude oil on the spot market and we will not renew term contracts.
    • At the same time, in close consultation with governments, we are changing our crude oil supply chain to remove Russian volumes. We will do this as fast as possible, but the physical location and availability of alternatives mean this could take weeks to complete and will lead to reduced throughput at some of our refineries.
    • We will shut our service stations, aviation fuels and lubricants operations in Russia. We will consider very carefully the safest way to do this, but the process will start immediately.
    • We will start our phased withdrawal from Russian petroleum products, pipeline gas and LNG. This is a complex challenge. Changing this part of the energy system will require concerted action by governments, energy suppliers and customers, and a transition to other energy supplies will take much longer.
Today’s announcement follow’s Shell’s decision last week that it intends to end its involvement in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project and exit its equity partnerships with Gazprom and related entities, including its 27.5 percent stake in the Sakhalin-II liquefied natural gas facility, its 50 percent stake in the Salym Petroleum Development and the Gydan energy venture.

    Hi All:

Yesterday, some media sites were reporting on a Pro Russia publication that posted Russia military dead and wounded numbers within Russia. The details were taken down within hours, but the number of Russian military dead and wounded were staggering. According to the report. Russia has possibly experienced as much as 10k dead and an additional 16k wounded in just 3 weeks of offensive action.

God I pray the Ukrainians can continue to attrit these pricks in the numbers being reported.

Another report yesterday indicated the Russian military leadership may be non-existent in their planning as well.

If only there were a way to stop the air attacks with longer range SAMs and the 600 series switchblades for armor destruction out to 25 plus miles in order to destroy the howitzers where they are parked. The lightweight 300 series switchblades withouht anti-armor penetration are only good out to approximately 4-miles.

If Russia is playing with their hypersonics, maybe the 600s, Blackwings, and Ravens need to be sent out to destroy any and all gun tubes and armor shelling the city's of Ukraine.

    Aerovironment 600

I hope we will be sending these to Ukraine as well.

Just minutes ago, this news item appeared on MSNBC from a U.S. Pentagon Assessment released within the last hour.

Ford Exits Sollers Russian Joint Venture Following Seven Month of Suspended Operation

Ford has finally exited its previously suspended operations in Russia through the sale of its 49 percent share in the Sollers Ford Joint Venture.

The sale follows the full suspension of all operations in Russia, including manufacturing, supply of parts, IT and engineering support since March.

Ford shares will be transferred to the Joint Venture for a nominal value. Ford retains the option to repurchase the shares within a 5-year period, should the global situation change.

Too bad it takes so long to exit dictatorships. Exiting both russia & communist china(always small letters) are really proud moments for companies. While “don’T rump” was US pressy-dent & pussy footing with russia & n.korea, I was hoping some company would pull out of the US. But no such luck. :(
