If you understand electric motors, then why did you state, "Max accelerations in a Prius aren’t much"? You likely spent more on your Elantra than I spent on my 5 Prii. I've had excellent luck with used cars. All five Prii are still on the road. I sold one. It's still on the road. I still own the other four. All of them are 04-08 with between 120 and 210K miles. The 2007 I sold has bout 250 on it now. The driver is my neighbor's son. I haven't even mentioned the one my oldest son has that I help him buy... but I will now. I hope it's now evident to you that you make a lot of assumptions and judgments about people and things. Your assumptions are more often wrong than not at least in our interactions (Almost 100% wrong. The only thing you got right is that I don't care what your opinion of me is because it's clear that you're perfectly happy being judgmental of others based on the flawed assumptions you make). Maybe you're not old enough to see the wisdom in being otherwise, or you're too old to change, and you just don't care. Unfortunate either way.
OK, OK, Prius vehicles are as fast as Formula 1 cars. Even when hybrid batteries run out of charge, at the bottom of mountain slopes, your Prius can thunder up the steep mountain slopes with 5 people & a heavily loaded trailer in tow. Thank you for correcting my errors. I spent over $4000 LESS than your used junk heaps, that you seem to get rid of as quick as you collect them.
LOL. You really don't like it when you're seen for what you are, do you? Again, all "junk heaps" still running reliably. Only one sold to buy its replacement... still running reliably. Not that you actually care, but they do just fine in the mountains. Routinely go from 1200ft elevation to 6500ft elevation and back a couple times a month.
Hi All: Let us all get back on topic. I highly recommend that anyone with a TMobile account use the TMobile Tuesdays deal(s). Every week for ~ 6-weeks now they are offering a $0.20/gallon off + the std. $0.05/gallon off using your Fuel Rewards card. In California, Costco's are almost always far cheaper than Shells in the area. More so than the $0.25/gallon off deal in most cases. Here in TN, Shell's usually run in the $3.79/gallon range unless they are right next door to a QuickTrip or other competitor charging far less. Tonight's $3.55/gallon Shell in Antioch, TN dished out almost 10-gallons at just $3.309/gallon with that Fuel Rewards deal. A Costco ~ 9-miles away from me in Brentwood, TN was charging $3.49/gallon so this deal beat that. AN Exxon/Mobil just down the street is also charging just $3.499/gallon as well. Shell in Antioch, TN at $3.309. Wayne
Lowest price in TX just dropped to $2.699…… PS……I made a mistake. Texas had a low price of $2.539, that has now dropped to $2.399. I think I may have meant SC at $2.699 in this post. An Alabama station sells for $2.599 PS…..Like other low priced stations in various states, Alabama’s low priced gas, bounced back up to $3.18.
Two gas stations in Idaho move down to $4.099, while Florida has a station moving down to $2.779. PS…..Whoa! Later this day, now the lowest price in Florida jumped to $3.25!
Arkansas has a gas station moving below $3 at $2.979. PS…..Arkansas, just bumped its lowest gas price UP to $3.029.
Hi All: This Sam's Club at $3.249 per gallon just outside the Nashville airport this afternoon. Wayne
AND……about 10 other Tennessee gas stations are BELOW Wayne’s mentioned station. The station you can get to ………………………………….. is the station that has the lowest price.
