This means instead of an I-40 drive from central CA to Nashville where the lowest fuel costs along the route exist, I had to take a more northerly route through Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and back into Tennessee. When I got to Nashville, I had to head back to Chicago and again back to Nashville. Which means (2) more refuels in Indianapolis since it was lower than fuel in both KY and TN for some reasons. Hi Bill: Thank you as I was flummoxed as to why IN fuel was and still is less expensive than both KY and TN which has not been the case in ... Well, history! Even today, Indianapolis is running in the $2.60 to $2.80 range, $0.40 below KY and TN prices! Beyond that, spot RBOB gasoline is at $2.95 today. How is IN able to offer below the wholesale price of gasoline? Wayne
