I'm surprised no one has dug this thread up with current prices being at or above record highs. I stopped at Murphy's/Walmart and filled up 2 cans with lawn mower gas a while ago that hold just over 2.5 gallons each cost was $23 and I could probably have easily got another $1-2 in them if I'd wanted to fill them to the top. Current lowest price I know of in Russellville, KY is $4.259, down from $4.399 about a week ago but still about $2.00 a gallon to much.
Yeah, you’re right! I transfer the following post from another thread posted on 5-18-22, for gas prices in both Western & Eastern Washington: /////// But, how much DIFFERENT is my yesterday’s trip compared to years past? Two years ago, there was a gas war in an Eastern Washington town. During the gas war, I was able to buy 55 gallons of gas for $1.25 per gallon. Yesterday, I had to pay $4.37 per gallon! At least, I didn’t pay $5+ per gallon like at some Western Washington stations now. Still, I won’t be making long distance trips to Eastern Washington anymore, till the prices drop.
