Spikes are easily hidden when you don't fill up very often. Now Wayne, though, sees multiple changes in a day!
If anyone has a Sheetz station near them, starting at midnight their fuel is going to be $1.776. Best to go at night, as one year I waited about 30 minutes to fillup. EDIT: I must have seen an old post, because I just came from Sheetz and they're not doing it this year.

This time, a Costco just outside of Hyundai's US HQ in Fountain Valley. First stop, the lowest price fuel in Northern AZ was at a Love's in Kingman vs the Thaylpo in Mojave Valley, just across from Needles. To get to Kingman however, I took a part of the road less taken. That is Route 66 into Oatman, AZ and out to Kingman. The road is barely a road anymore and switchbacks its way into the mountains but every time I have been there, the Burro's are always glad to see me.
