One station that was selling lowest in our Washington state for months(as low as $3.639), in the last few days leaped to $4.319! Lowest in the state now, is $3.959. If I went there for gas, it probably would be higher still! One Costco station is $4.769, & I don’t care what its yearly discount is! Gasoline zoo prices just left their cage.

Hi All: I had to take a short trip out to Southern California to pick up stuff from the Carlsbad home and bring it back to Nashville. Along the way, prices looked like this. But first, I feel like Forest Gump on his run across America... The Prius Prime crossed the Mississippi for the 15th time this year alone. And in Missouri, there was a farmer burning stover in his fields??? I do not know why either. On Oct. 1, we drove through Little Rock, AR. A Costco in Little Rock, AR was charging just $2.799. Wayne
Hi All: I kept driving and on the same day, Oct. 1, we drove through Royse City, TX along the 10. Bucees at just $2.899. As a data point, this is the same city that I charged the 252-mile range, Toyota bZ4X CUV at an Electrify America station from 5 to 80% - 189-miles at EPA, for just $9. The Prius Prime hatch to travel 189-miles at its 54 mpg EPA - I was achieving 76 mpg, would have taken 3.5 gallons and would have cost $10.14. Wayne
Hi All: And than we have that bastard West Texas drive. That is the 10 from nowhere to nowhere and it goes forever. Oct. 2nd, 2022 near Horizon City in Wet Texas just off the 10. Still just $2.819/gallon. Same day but this time in Tucson, AZ. Still just $3.259 per gallon but just 100-miles down the 10 in Phoenix which uses California CBG, finding fuel for under $5 per is tough. Wayne

Hi All: Remember I mentioned California? On 10/06/2022, this is the absolute lowest cost per gallon I could find in all of San Diego County, California! Most fuel stations were charging $6.05 to $6.75/gallon. I drove around San Diego on errands over the course and 3-days and drove to just 3-miles of DTE before refueling at this Costco in La Mesa, California. $5.899/gallon. Wayne
