    Today , 43 deg F in Naperville , 42 in Elk Grove.
    Wind NNW 10 ( ouch ). 35.1 miles , 59.0 MPG.
Filled up on the way home last night.
    Amoco 87 E10 was $2.199.
    576.7 miles , fcd = 64.9 x .956 = 62.04 MPG.
    576.7 miles / 9.469 gallons = 60.9 MPG.
I may need a new multiplier.

Went to girlfriend's right after work Friday. Did not drive again until this morning.
Governor locked down our state at 5:00 PM Sat , but we are still working as usual.
At least no one told the guy who opens up in the morning ( yours truly ) that we
aren't working. I guess we'll see if anyone else shows up , lol.
    32 deg F in Naperville , 31 in Elk Grove , wind N 3. I came from Woodridge , so
pretty much straight north to get here. 23.3 miles , 57.8 MPG.
Also , about 3" of snow fell yesterday and last night. Roads were clear.
Tank is at 109.2 miles , 61.4 MPG.

Pretty sneaky getting in a good drive and not telling us about it. ;) There's a gap of about 36.1 miles at 65.5 MPG. Good job! :)

Our governor has finally given MA the stay-at-home order for the next few weeks.

I typically don't post the after-work trips. Why ? I'm lazy. I do document them in my journal.
But those are in warmer temps , sometimes more favorable wind....
and I don't take the highway. All that means ,in temps of 40-50 deg ,
    65-68 MPG trips. And I don't pay $0.95 for toll. At $2.099/gallon , 0.95 buys quite a few miles.

    Hi all.
I’m on 14 day quarantine with rest of family but it looks like we haven’t got it - phew!
Not driving, my car is currently on charge to make sure battery is topped up.
Youngest daughter who’s a school teacher was sent home last week with a new cough and a temperature but she’s ok now. I was sent home (where I can work remotely) as a precaution.
    #day5
    UK on lockdown.
Stay safe but stay apart

I'm happy to hear that nothing serious is up, Gord. Enjoy your working from home. :) I've been very lucky to have been able to do this for a while now. The company's scrambling to send as many people home as they can, and they're just not set up for the work at home piece.

Tank is at 247.8 miles , 62.7 MPG.
Had a very good trip home last night , but
of course I left journal at home. It was scenic route #2 ,
but instead of stopping at Planet Fitness in Naperville ( closed , of course )
I continued straight home about another nine miles.

Good to hear, you are all well!
Prince Charles has the coronavirus.... just too many attended duties by the Prince.
Outside of actual coronavirus deaths within families, it appears that deaths among well-known celebrities are the major way to shake people to the core, about the seriousness of coronavirus. But, that could send a lot of people into depressive states, too.
We really got a problem now. & I'm including contagions that are likely to occur beyond the coronavirus. Most of our gov'ts aren't responding quickly enough.

How much traffic reduction has occurred due to coronavirus? We've been staying home & just walk around the neighborhood. They've closed so many parks & wildlife areas that I like to walk. There are two that may not have been closed. I'll check them out. Maybe, I can find little-traveled logging roads to walk.
