60s and partly cloudy here today. Thanks to that, and unusually little traffic behind, I coasted to a new record for coming home from a bike ride that started in the town called Six Mile. 81×0.955=~77 mpg.

Well, 77MPG was my highest, from my 1980 450cc Suzuki. As Yogi would say, "Its deja vu, all over again".

Coincidentally, that's about the same mpg from only ¼ the engine displacement.

If I'd had more displacement, I wooda been dead. I loved my 1/4 displacement.... cause it couldn't quite kill me.

Saturday morning, 2UP plus our dog to Eyam in Derbyshire, very hilly, climbed to over 1300', had to use turbo uphill and brakes a lot going back down even with engine braking, 37°F, headwind W8:

    Tank is at 310.2 miles , 251 remaining , 55.0 MPG.
Odometer reads 100,027. Actually there is no comma on my odo display , that

That's a lot of miles, Edwin. My car is close behind, but it's taken 10 years to reach that number (7 of those in my care).

    34F and rain here.
12.6 mpg in the big van.

Solution to that problem is to have.... 2 or 3 vehicles. Have I solved everybody's problem?
