I'm in the big Nissan NV today. Got a very nice 15 mpg / 11 mi to work. (no epa rating, guessing 12/16 based on the Titan)

Thanks Edwin - had a brilliant time on vacation in North Yorkshire. It's never great for FE due to the steepness of the hills (I hate braking!) but I tried!

    Friday - to Whitby, 49°F:
    60.2 / 7.4
    23.9 / 2.8 - Up hill to pub for lunch, 50°F

    33.1 / 5.5

Home on Sunday - slightly different way, bit better for FE, 43 to 54°F, partial headwind 7SSW:
    48.3 / 102.0

My turn to drive this week, 2UP, motoway route, 46°F:

Gord, I don't imagine you went on holiday alone, so you did quite well in fact, especially with the hills and some short drives. Glad you enjoyed yourselves.

Our western Washington gasoline is over $3 per gal! Only way to get gasoline under $3 is to travel to eastern Washington. The only way to get gasoline anywhere near the national average...... & its still well over, is to travel to Idaho.

You are right Bill :). It was 4UP every trip and most trips the dog came along too!
    298.4 miles in total @ 45.0 mpg (adjusted down -5.27%) so 180 pmpg :D

Going home Monday was very slow and very dark now the clocks have gone back, some rain, detour #8 then another detour on second half, 47°F, cross/headwind NNE6:
    42.3 / 24.5

Tuesday morning, 2UP, motorway route, raining and slower than normal, 49°F, crosswind N12:
    45.1 / 22.6

Last night, detour #8 again, normal traffic but people everywhere for bonfire night, 46°F, crosswind N9.
The FCD did a weird thing - I dropped car pooler off and FAS'd to the end of his road but it was still acting as thought the engine was on. Same thing on the next pulse to get to the traffic lights but when I switched ignition off and on again it started behaving properly! The FCD mpg dropped somewhat more than it should have but I'll stick with it as the FCD usually exaggerates anyway:
    39.2 (FCD 41.3) / 24.5

This morning, 2UP, motorway route, much colder 35°F - not a bad run but engine definitely took longer to warm up, head/crosswind WNW6:
    46.1 / 22.6

    Tank down 0.3 at 44.4 (FCD 46.7) / 479.5 / Range 115 . Guess gauge F____|__««E . UG steady at 44.4 / DTE 119

    Lost 5th pip (of 8) @ 413 miles
    Lost 6th pip (of 8) @ 479 miles

Last night, detour #8 yet again, torrential rain, start/stop over 25 times to get to motorway, 42°F, mostly crosswind SSE7:
    38.5 / 23.4

This morning, 2UP, motorway route, still raining, horrendous conditions, a lot of deep puddles, 43°F, mostly tailwind ENE6:
    43.3 / 22.6:(

    Tank down 0.5 at 43.9 (FCD 46.2) / 525.5 / Range 60 . Guess gauge F____|___«E . UG down 0.2 at 44.2 / DTE 71

    LFL @ 525 miles

This was what I saw on my walk at lunchtime:

Gonna need a boat there Gord!

    We've got drizzle here.
    54.4 / 5.2 home last night
62.3 / 11.4 this morning. Surprising in the mild wet.

Some wind from the east hurt a bit today : 35.1 miles , 56.1 MPG.
    Tank is at 545.8 miles , 9 remaining , and 58.4 MPG.
That's about what I'll end up with when I fill sometime tonight.

Probably would have been quicker in a boat Andrew! :D

Last night - O M G  - still torrential rain (they called it 'Biblical' rain - 1 months worth in 24 hours), gridlock in the city, closed roads, flooded houses, people stuck in main shopping centre for 5 hours, the first 8 miles were at an average speed of 6mph. Lots of completely stopped waiting with engine off for many minutes at a time! 44°F:
    27.3 / 22.6 - Average speed for trip was 10mph - Time 2hrs 10mins

Although I started with an indicated range of 60 miles, it dropped fast so I put 4.13 gallsUS in after 10 miles.
I'll do a proper fill to the brim later.

This morning, 2UP, motorway route, drizzling, less eventful!, 42°F, strong crosswind N14:
    44.3 / 22.6

    Tank down 1.0 at 42.9 (FCD 45.2) / 570.3 / New Range 190 . Guess gauge F____|««««E . UG down 0.7 at 43.5 / New DTE 197
