    40.0 / 20.3 - not great :(

This morning, reversed back to car pooler's house as usual - it was in darkness . After a text to see if he was awake I went on my own and he made his own way :p!
Motorway route, big queue on the approach to traffic light section - detoured some of it, still raining, 54°F, cross/tailwind NNE47:

Thanks for starting us up , Gord.
    Today , 71 deg Fin Naperville , 73 ! in Addison , and61 in Toronto.
    A bit of a SW wind helped today.35.1 miles , 68.4 MPG.
    Tank is still not great : 227.5 miles , 444 remaining , 64.7 MPG.
I could still get it up to 66 if it doesn't rain. But seeing as how it's
    October...….. it will rain.

I'm in the big van today, now equipped with a shiny new Scangauge E. The van has some diagnostic gauges (volts, trans temp) so I'm ok with only 2 on the 'gauge.

    12.4 mpg / 11.5 mi.

It's a "heavy duty" vehicle so there is no EPA mileage rating. It shares its drivetrain (5.6 v8 etc) with the Titan which is rated 13/18 mpg. But this is carrying an extra 1500 lb of bodywork and upgraded frame and suspension.

My commute route is 11.5 miles with 28 traffic lights or stop signs. Definitely fits in the City driving cycle.

I'll bet your school bus shines at people-MPG. My car has one human in it 95 % of the time.

That was with me plus 4, so 62 PMPG. Not shabby. but...

This morning back in the Fit. Had a sub-par run at 52.1 mpg but that comes out to 260 PMPG. :D

Tank is down a tick to 53.6 / 238 mi.

Your "sub-par" trip would be unimaginable for most people. But most people don't even pay attention to fuel economy. :)

Big van day again. I did some strategic neutral coasting and the result was 13.4 mpg. That's almost 10% better!

I forgot to share the weekend trip in the big thing. I drove an hour out with an empty trailer, an hour back with hay bales stacked 4 high. 15 mpg out, 14 back.

Then at lunch today, 12.x out for about 3 miles, 14.2 back! Elevation and lots of coasting helped me out.

Scenic route home tonight , no work tomorrow , so no driving. Have a "date" with Kelly Sunday , so about 40 miles that day.
