Should I buy a new 2018 Volt ?

    Hi Edwin:

    With the discounts available on the 2019 Toyota Prius Prime's, I would tend to lean in that direction. A more reliable car with exceptional efficiency on both the gas engine and electrics while costing far less than competitors. If you can wait until early next year, $4,500 on the hood on the East Coast is not out of the question.

    For the 2020 MY, the Prime received 5 seats as well.

    I was planning on waiting to accumulate 12 months of SS payments ($30K) and then paying cash for a car.
    Could I pay cash now ? Yeah. But I like the idea of getting a new car for "nothing". Let's see
    what kind of vehicle/deal is available next May.
