New 2017 Hyundai Ioniq Blue for $17,999 after all the discounts

Hi All:

This is a leftover 17 and this dealership near San Francisco still has 5 of them for some reason? The slow selling Ioniq's continue to stack up on lots in part due to their lack of dicounts vs. Prius but in this case, the deal is worth posting. Here is why.

2017 Hyundai Ioniq Blue for $19,999, $3,331 off retail

In addition to the sub $20k price tag, the $1k Uber Affiliate discount, $500 BoostUp down payment discount, and a new one, a $500 Loyalty discount for Hyundai owners could potentially bring this one down to $17,999 + TTL and Doc. Not bad for a brand new Ioniq although the 2017 MY - a year old vehicle - will hurt you at Trade-in or resale time.

I will post a better pic when the sale shows up on this dealerships website this weekend. I received it via e-mail a few minutes ago and it was really small and blurry.

Instead however, I would consider a base 2018 Hyundai Ioniq PHEV-29. They can be found at retail for $26,015. Take maybe a $1k off dealer discount, $4,543 Fed TC, $1,500 Calif. State Tax Rebate, $1,000 Uber Discount, $750 Hyundai Owner Loyalty Disc., and another $500 off for BoostUp down payment match.

This brings a base 2018 Hyundai Ioniq PHEV-29 down to approximately $16,722 + TTL and Doc. Now that is a deal!!!

Remember however that the base Ioniq and Ioniq PHEV lack any advanced safety equipment. To get Blind Spot Detection w/ Rear Cross-traffic Alert & Lane Change Assist on the PHEV requires the Limited trim for another $3,350.

To get Automatic Emergency Braking, Smart Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist System, and Rear parking sensors, that requires the Limited trim plus the Ultimate pkg. for another $3,750 on top of the Limited trims price.
