[IMG] This is starting to scare me.

    Wayne Gerdes – CleanMPG – Jan. 29, 2018

Like a cancer, our Republic appears to be in the middle of circumvention from within by the current Administration and key enablers within the Halls of Congress.

    A timeline.

    *************** The U.S. Elections ***************

The American people spoke in the elections of 2010 with the House going to the Republicans and they have held onto its majority ever since. In 2014, the Republicans gained a Majority in the Senate and the ability to block all Democratic direction. And everything else including not allowing a Presidential Supreme Court Nomination until after the 2016 Election. With the 2016 Presidential election, the Republican party gained full control and the results are outlined below.

    *************** The Russian Meetings ***************

In 2016, Jared Kushnerasked met with Russia's ambassador Sergey Kislyak in Trump Tower to see if the Trump transition team could use Russia's embassy to communicate privately with Moscow "about" Syria according to varying stories by Kushner.

Soon after, Jared held a meeting at the U.S. sanctioned VEB bank with Sergey Gorkov, a prominent graduate of Russia’s spy school and the person handpicked by Putin to run VEB Bank. VEB is not a bank but a slush fund for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and top campaign adviser Paul Manafort held a meeting with the following individuals in Trump Tower to discuss Russian "Adoptions", code word for the Magnitsky Act which placed placed severe sanctions on Russian Financial transactions.

    1. and 2. Arasand Emin Agalarov, the father-and-son Russian developers who hosted the Trump-owned Miss Universe pageant in Moscow.

    3. Ike Kaveladze, a U.S.-based employee of a Russian real estate company.

    4. The Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya.

    5. Rinat Akhmetshin, a Soviet army veteran whose military service in the 1980s came in a unit whose responsibilities included counterintelligence. Now a Russian American lobbyist.

Flynn had a late Dec. 2017 conversation with Kislyak, the same day the Obama administration announced sanctions against Russia in response to Russia’s meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Flynn spoke with “a senior official” of the Trump transition team “who was with other senior members of the Presidential Transition Team at the Mar-a-Lago resort” to discuss something about not escalating and removing sanctions after the transition.

    *************** The DOJ/FBI Firings ***************

Trump fired acting Attorney General Sally Yates 4 days after warning Trump’s White House counsel, Don McGahn, that then-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was “potentially vulnerable to Russian blackmail.”

Trump fired US Attorney Preet Bharara, US attorney for the Southern District of New York who oversees the Trump Tower District after asking him to stay on just months before. Hmmm.

Trump fired FBI director James Comey just days after Trump asked Comey to make the investigation of Flynn go away.

The following day, Trump revealed "highly classified Israeli information" to two top Russian diplomats — Kislyak and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov - in the Oval Office bragging how he got rid of Comey with only Russian officials in the White House.

Mary McCord, career attorney who oversaw Russia probe at DOJ and who accompanied Sally Yates to the WH for consultation with Don McGahn, stepped aside...

Acting director Andrew McCabe earlier today said he is retiring early after months of Trump attacks.

    *************** Russian Sanctions ***************

Also, today, the State Department released a statement saying that the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act, or CAATSA is already having the desired effect of deterring Russian interference, directly contradicting CIA reports warning that it has not abated.

“Today, we have informed Congress that this legislation and its implementation are deterring Russian defense sales...”

Rod Rosenstein, Deputy AG, DOJ and the last DOJ lead left overseeing the Mueller Russian Investigation is the last man standing with a target on his head. Nunes CA-R who was part of the Trump Campaign recused himself but did nothing of the sort is now "trumping" up charges that the DOJ overstepped its bounds with the FISA Court after targeting Carter Paige as he was targeted by the FBI back in late 2013 during an FBI sting to break up a Russian Spy Ring inside New York...

The Republican House Intelligence members started a secret investigation into DOJ/FBI investigations.

Why does this Administration want to take out all of those in the DOJ and FBI that are looking into its Russian affairs and their meddling in our elections, remove/block any and all sanctions against Russia for doing it and other nefarious activities in the past, and deflecting attention back to Hillary Clinton, a former Sec. of State and past Presidential candidate?

This is NAZI Germany type crap between the early to mid-1930s! Heaven help us all if this heist from within continues unabated. :(

    Wayne,

The previous US administration and Russia had a proxy war going in Syria(ISIS vs. Assad) for quite some time. Natural gas from the biggest natural gas field in the world to Europe (and the threat to Russia's near monopoly on supply) was at stake.

If we're going with historical comparisons, maybe we should look back to the destruction of the Baghdad-Berlin railway.

Trump and his cronies are wannabe kleptocrats. They are using fear of others, to divide and dominate.

    Hi Carcus:

Uranium? You will want to read up on that.

In the mean time, the DOJ and FBI are not just under attack but have lost their entire leadership so that the Administration can control what is investigated and what is not. The lower Courts have seen placement of judges that have no idea what they are doing. Now the Russian sanctions LAW passed by Congress last year has been ignored by the Administration. The Russians were mucking up our elections from one end of the spectrum to the other and the Administration has done nothing but enabled them to do more. We are in trouble when an Administration is both complicit and enabling a foreign country to involve itself in our elections all the while taking out the Defense of our democracy.

When did the right learn to attack the FBI and DOJ and allow Russian's to run rampant with no cost? The Russians were busy last week with the #ReelaseTheMemo on FB! Were you taken in?

    Hi Carcus:

Four aides to President Trump face criminal charges in special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. This includes Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos and Richard Gates to date and this is not over yet. Next up, Trump has fired everyone in control of the investigation.

Finally regarding the FISA over reach, one of the Russian spy's is in a U.S. jail and the other 2 escaped back to Russia. They were caught discussing how they had corrupted Carter Paige back in late 2013. He has been under a FISA surveillance since early 16 and the 18 officials from the FBI investigators, DOJ officials, and judge(s) involved have renewed the Warrant every 90-days since for cause.

I wonder why Dan B. does not know about these facts?

"They were caught discussing how they had corrupted Carter Paige back in late 2013."

Facts? .... Carter Page (no i) hasn't been convicted of anything. ... and every account of the "Russian spy story" I can find says they tried to recruit him, but to no avail. Beyond that, he was a low level advisor for a short time and then left.

So it's most likely just like every other Trump/Russia story ,,, it's a bunch of bullshlt ... made up by the opposition (not all democrats) and then pumped up by the opposition.

    Hi Carcus:

"They tried to recruit him" and had ongoing conversations with him back in 2013. He kept going to Russia through 2015 and 2016 as a Trump advisor.

Flynn, Manafort, Papadopoulos and Gates arrests and two convictions so far are BS? Trump Jr and Kushner Trump Tower and VEB Bank meetings are BS? This administration had to admit to it only after tit was released by the Post or the Times? Trump stating Fake News just minutes after he was rewriting the Trump Jr. Trump Tower Russian meeting release?

Trump firing Yates, Bharara, Comey, meeting with the Russians in the WH the following day, Lester Holt interview are all facts to date. H He ordered the firing of Mueller just one-month in but the DOJ CFR did not allow Donald McGahn to do it legally. If he eventually takes out Rosenstein, the coup will be complete right before our eyes. The DOJ/FBI supposed to be separate from the Administrations.

Yesterday's refusal to enact the Russian sanctions after both houses of Congress overwhelmingly approved them 517 - 5 because the Russians have been sufficiently deterred? Deterred from what? This administrations started secretly attempting to unilaterally remove all of them immediately after taking office despite the fact they had tried to take out our elections?

    Hi All:

AS of a few hours ago, President Donald Trump's attorneys are arguing that special counsel Robert Mueller's team has not met the high threshold they believe is needed to interview a president in person.

Trump has been laundering rubles since the 1980's. His "businesses" are essentially all money laundering operations.

    Wayne,

Obama delayed sanctions on Iran, and paid them, and a whole lot more.

If we want to start a "dirt" thread on the Clintons, there's an internet full of it and a pile of dead bodies to boot. They are about 100 times scarier than Trump as far as I'm concerned.

As politicians/rich businessmen go, .. Trump is amazingly clean. But if you dig and dig I'm sure there's going to be some dirt show up eventually (you don't get that rich, or get that far in politics by always playing nice). If you don't like Trump, just vote him out in 2020. That's how it works, otherwise all the demonizing/"resist"/"he's Hitler"/"sometimes violence is necessary" attitude could ruin what we've got left of a Republic.

    Hi Carcus:

Iran's money was its own money and was given back after the deal was signed. Are you saying it was not Iran's money and there was no agreement to lift the sanctions?

I do not have to dig even 10 seconds. In the beginning of the 2008-2009 recession when real estate values were cut by 20 to 60 percent, a Russian Oligarch paid $90 million USD for a Home with uninhabitable Mold that Trump purchased for $45 million 2 or three years before.

Why would anyone buy an uninhabitable home for twice the previous price during the recession? Name that person?

Regarding Hitler, this is the same shit Hitler pulled in Germany in the early mid 1930's to remove political opponents. From 35 on, he was just killing them so we are not there.

Nobody fires everyone heading an investigation towards that person. Nixon did it and was impeached soon after.

Did Clinton fire everyone around the Mueller investigation and whose son, son-in-law, NSA, and AG were meeting with Russians secretly while stating they were not? What do you not understnad here?

/ Trump is not anything like Hitler. He's not going to start gassing people. He's not going to start a blitzkrieg. The Trump is Hitler crap is dangerous.

    Hi Carcus:

I said this is like what Hitler was doing in the early to mid 30s. He did not start gassing people until 41 or 42 IIRC. Do you get it now?
Damn straight it is!!! When the POTUS begins firing everyone involved into an investigation over his Election and transition team with Arrests and convictions already in place, lies continuously to everyone about it, and has his suurogates running rampant creating as much chaos as possible, we are heading to a very bad place.

    Hi Carcus:

Hillary is not the POTUS. The last I looked anyway? Firing all the FBI and DOJ leads to stop an investigation that has already netted four arrest and two convictions is obstruction.
