Friday on the way home, almost didn't make it home as a Subaru owner decided she wanted to be in my lane at the last moment in front of a traffic island at a stop light. shhhheesh! and threw away all the momentum I had AND then the light also turned. 59.7 / 13.0 miles (66F ESE@7 wet roads) FCD = 59.3 (+0.3) this morning to work: 54.0 / 13.0 miles (55F SSW@2) FCD = 59.1 (-0.2) tank: 2.55 gals converted 149.4 miles F*****|*****E (needle is covering the Full line.

Haven't had a good last few days... been in the southeast and frorida. Flat + hot means good driving, but my vehicle is also my home so regrettably more idling than I'd like. Down to 7.6mpg. Also learned that in addition to dragging my own stuff home, I'll be taking some in-laws with me from Dallas to home about ~120 miles east. More weight and they'll want a fast transit, so FE will suffer. The upside is that they have a tropical metabolism, so a/c is kinda shunned.
Today , light rain all the way in , 53.5 deg F , wind NE9 ( headwind). 35.1 miles , 57.94 MPG ( ouch). The good news : I filled up on the way in , some good weather and good luck helped to get 652.7 miles/9.527 = 68.51 MPG. fcd said 72.3 , which would mean an over-report of 5.5 %. I used my usual pump , but I suspect it shut off a bit early. We'll check over-report on the next tank to see. Price of the Shell 87 E10 was $2.579 in Aurora IL.
Last night, a downpour just in time for the drive home. 40.5 mpg / 4.4 mi This morning, cooler 52F and humid. Not sure why it's not ~5 higher. 48.2 / 12.2 Tank is down to 50.2 / 75 mi. * I'll be scarce around here through the weekend. Going to see the U2 concert in Houston tonight, then camping over the weekend.
Sound like a good time Pale, have fun. last night: 67.1 / 12.9 miles (68F WNW@11) FCD = 59.9 (+0.6) near perfect conditions this morning to work: 54.3 / 13.0 miles (53F WNW@8) FCD = 59.5 (-0.4) tank: 3.54 gals converted 201.0 miles F_****|*****E
