    2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class 350e PHEV-11 – $40,425 not incl. the $925 D&H fee provides owners with a paltry 28/32 mpgUS city/highway rating and 11-miles on the plug.

    This PHEV model was canceled for the 2017 MY.

    Mercedes-Benz January 2017 Sales Overview

    Mercedes-Benz USA including smart and Sprinter achieved sales of 27,900 vehicles in January, up 3.5 percent over the 26,962 vehicles sold in January of 2016.

    Mercedes-Benz on its own achieved January sales of 25,527, also up 3.5 percent over the previous record setting January volume of 24,664 vehicles sold.

    Mercedes-Benz volume leader in January was the C-Class with 6,453 vehicles sold, up 27.1 percent over the 5,079 sold in January of 2016.

    The number one tidbit in the January segment sales reports is that the Ford Fusion Hybrid outsold the Prius liftback for the first time in history. I believe this is the first time the Prius Liftback has been surpassed since the Gen 2 was released back in late 2003!

    The seasonally adjusted annual selling rate (SAAR) for light vehicles was approximately 17.6 million vehicles.
