  7. Ended with 49.0 mpg on the dash for the round trip Albion-Detroit-Albion in the 17 Yaris ia. We left earlier than usual to try to miss the winter weather advisory. Just started snowing as we got off the highway

    Not bad, James. Is the Yaris the 6MT ? Too bad they don't give us the hatch.

    Today , 23.5 deg F wind NNE 12 , which means , for me , headwind ALL the way to work. 35.0 miles , 52.82 MPG. Tank is at 39.5 miles , 54.03 MPG. Filled up yesterday at my usual pump at my usual Shell. 525.6 miles/9.859 gallons = 53.31 MPG. If I look back at last winter , I might find a tank worse than this , not sure.

    Jason , it was S8 in the morning at 5:00 AM when I was driving to work. Later in the day when I was coming home, winds were more like W30. Is that windy ?

    I finally counted. My morning drive to school and work, 11 miles, has TWENTY SIX stop lights or signs.
    Straight home or straight to work, 5 miles, has 7.

    52.9 / 5.3 - home last night, still loaded with 250 lb feed. 75F, 18 tailwind
    53.1 / 11.4 - this morning to school and work, 68F, 11 headwind

    Tank is finally up to 50.0 / 356 mi.

    Filled up after running errands. All of the snow melted and it's been raining. Roads very very wet. Some of them are water logged and can't be driven on. MPG on this tank was terrible, although not too far off of my winter average. Around half of the miles were driven in 2016.

    Fill-up 1:
    Miles: 288.5
    Gallons: 10.000
    28.85 MPG

    As I said, not too far off of my winter average. Normally get around 29-30 in the winter. Summer is 33-35. Wish I knew how to hypermile better ;) I'd love to be getting 600 miles a tank but driving around here isn't that conducive to it.

    45.8 / 13.1 miles (30F NNW@8)
    FCD = 51.0 (-0.3)

    tank:
    5.60 gals converted

    57.7 / 5.4 - home
