    Thanks for starting the thread Jason - Bank Holiday here in UK ( yeah I know we have too many vacations :p ).

    8.5mpg today over 455 miles. Light load but conditions were mostly hilly and rain for the first 200 or so miles. Also, this trailer lacks those side skirts. It does have air ride though which is amazing. It virtually eliminates the secondary motions in the tractor as trailer tires hit bumps. It's a LOT more comfortable than the regular cheap leaf spring trailers. It'll be good for the crappy roads of Arkansas tomorrow!

    Went to the library and back. Hit every single traffic light along the way. Brought my average down from 41.7 to 36.5. Not too happy. I'm researching bike trailers and what not, trying to stay in shape. If only I knew where my bike was!

    Electricity wise, I've calculated an average of around 6.4 KwH per day, bringing me to around 204 KwH per month. Very exciting!

  5. Work to home plus an errand. 50 miles on the charge with miles to spare. It is a roller coaster love hate relationship with this car.

    Dash pic too large to upload, sorry

    Today , 39 deg F , no wind. 34.9 miles , 65.0(60.45) MPG. Tank is about 300 miles , 64.8(60.26) MPG. I don't think this tank will reach 70 fcd , but I have a good 300+ miles to improve it.

    Sorry for no update yesterday. Work is busy and home is busy. I had to give my first shot to a sheep - I think she has pneumonia. Wheezing shallow breath. We'll see if the antibiotic helps. I have to do several more days and I don't think she'll like me by the end of it.

    Cooler than normal here, down to 49F when normal is 60+ overnight.
    49.6 / 5.3 - home
    51.5 / 8.3 - school and work

    Tank 52.8 / 494 mi and nearing 1/4.

    8.8mpg for the day. Nice temps and not too many hills. Peaked at 9mpg but what brought me down was Dallas traffic - not crowded but like any other city it is not forgiving for a 65' rig.

    Filled up while gas was still cheap; Had 90 miles of range left.

    324.6 Miles
    10.300 Gallons
    31.51 MPG (Ouch... all of that idling in city traffic really messes with your MPG, even if you did some highway driving)

    On the new tank;
    5.6 miles
    36.5 MPG Indicated.

    Here's hoping this tank is better.

    Remember when cars had an ignition switch ? Today , 42 deg F , N13. This headwind didn't help today. 34.9 miles , 61.0 (56.73) MPG. Tank is at 436.7 miles , 65.6(61.1) MPG. At least I had a decent trip home Wednesday :33.6 miles , 78.3(72.82) MPG. If this north wind is still blowing when I leave work today , I could have an 80(fcd) trip to pub tonight.

    That's all we have in the Fit, an ignition switch. The computer thinks its smart and lets the engine revs drop gently when you let off the gas, so if you don't wait long enough it's still turning fast enough to restart when you key back on. I miss my old mechanical Civic where you let off the pedal and bam it's down to idle.

    52.0 / 5.3 - home
    48.9 / 8.2 - to school running late, then to the rental house to drop something off
    62.2 / 7.6 - work

    Tank +0.1 to 52.8 / 528 mi. Woo! Exactly 10.0 gallons. :D :eek:

    Yep what Pale said. I just didn't keep the key off long enough to keep it from restarting. :oops:

    10 Gals??? with about 2/10 left from my experience that is more like like 9 gals or a little more. With about 53 MPG you should reach 10 gals closer to 1/10 left.

    last night:
    - 63.8 / 13.0 miles (71F N@13)
    FCD = 58.0 (+0.3)

    This morning with school drop off
    - 48.0 / 13.1 miles (45F Calm) idling in the queue at school and a little zoom zoom to get into traffic.
    FCD = 57.7 (-0.3)

    Tank:

    8.4mpg yesterday. Merely 7.6 today, but a lot of shifting, that is, not maintaining good highway speeds a lot.

    I can only imagine what stop and go does to a big rig. :eek:

    That's 10 gallons down from topped off to the brim. Also, I may have overcorrected the SG and mpg might be higher than reported. I hope so...

    Got a sick puppy at home. He's got distemper and it doesn't look good. Just try to keep him comfortable and hydrated while his body fights the virus. Vaccinate your pets! He's newish to us, 4 months old, and we hadn't done it yet.
    54.4 / 5.3 - home
    44.4 / 2.9 - to vet
    52.8 / 2.9 - home
    67.2 / 5.3 to work

    Tank steady 52.8 / 544.
