OK the blue text is visible enough but what's with those arrows under the text that don't do anything?
Request you get rid of link titles that don't do anything like: Extra Home, Watched Forums and Watched Threads along with those arrows.
The Arrows are defendant on displayport size. Are you seeing this on a tablet? The watched forums and threads should work. You would have to mark some for watching, but it should bring them up. I presume it's like a "favorites" thing.
Right, displayport thing. If you look at it in desktop it's actually the separators for breadcrumb. I'll have a play this weekend. Mileage logs> I'm trying to get at least bits of older part of the forum to run so the logs can be displayed. It requires juggling 2 versions of php at the same time so it gets a bit complicated.
Hah, thought the site continued to be down. Finally twigged that my bookmark was out-of-date. Websitenotworking.com helped. Like the new format. Is it possible to post a pic in straightforward manner now? Or does it need to have "url", be uploaded in advance to the gallery?
Is it possible to add a URL rewrite so that people like Mendel get redirected to the new forums? Even just redirect to the homepage. Going to the old URLs or bookmarks just gives an error that makes it look like the site is down.
Hi Mendel: You can upload directly to the forum and into the gallery. Prefer the gallery and then embed it back in. You can also now post directly into a thread or create a new thread from your smartphone and include pics like I did with the AMC Javelin post an hour or two ago. A Kenosha Classic... Remember AMC? Mike, Matthew is working on it. Google cannot find the forum posts just yet either. Wayne
Is it an Apache web server? Just add a URL rewrite for the time being until redirects can be done on a per-thread basis. At least that way, people will be sent to the homepage instead of seeing a database error and leaving. I am no Apache guru, but I can take a look if you want to give me admin access to the web server.
Hi Mike: I will refer that one to Matthew. The tens of thousands of broken links are the ones he is working on now. Wayne
I don't see any button or option to upload an image, either from phone or computer hard drive. I've tried on my phone too, looks the same. Not pressing, was just curious. Am I missing it? I understand I could upload to gallery, and then cut-and-paste the code in the message. At Priuschat they use the same software I think, and in the the editor there is an option to upload a file, either something like pdf or excel spreadsheet, or a jpeg. With the latter you then have the option to either attach or directly show the image in the message.
Hi Mendel: You do not see the Upload a File button next to the Post Reply button on your phone? I just posted this screenshot from my phone. EzPz. Wayne
Hmm, I just see the "Post Reply" and "More Options..." buttons, not the "Upload a File" button in the middle. This is on Win7 with MS Internet Explorer. Checked FireFox, same thing. Weird. Security settings on defaults btw. My phone's just doing an update right, but I think the same. Will take another look after. Yeah same on phone.
Hi Mendel: Must be my end then. I will look into the permissions and see if I can open it up. Give me a few minutes. Wayne
