Volvo VNL w/ a D13 and 10-speed MT hauling local - 9 mpg!

    Hi All:

    Jesse is currently in a Volvo VNL w/ a D13 and 10-speed MT hauling local w/ 11 deliveries today. On the 320 mile round trip loop, he is about 285 miles into it and at 9 mpg! 45,000 pounds leaving the terminal and now probably at 40,000 coming home.

    Now just 15 miles from the terminal, he is at 9.1.

    What was cool about this load was that he actually had 11 deliveries to car dealerships on surface streets along with the Interstate between some of them.
