This is an absolute must see! Wayne Gerdes - CleanMPG - Jan. 9, 2013 Saw this on an LA Times feed... And what a vid!!! A pod of approximately 1,000 dolphins began a stampede more akin to a wildebeest migration across the Serengeti rather than something you would see in the dark blue Pacific Ocean waters off Dana Point, CA about half way between LA and San Diego. According to those on the Whale watching boat that captured the embedded video to the right, it happened twice this past weekend. Once on Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday morning. Dave Anderson, the captain of Capt. Dave's Dolphin and Whale Safari: "It's one of those things you can hope for it, but you can't plan for it. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of beautiful and interesting things on the water..." "Suddenly, like someone fired a gun," he said, "they're off and running." "Are they afraid? Are they chasing after something? Why are they doing this? I know they're not running away from the boat. It seems like they're responding to something but I just don't know what it is." "It's quite a magical experience." Best video of the day?
Absolutely incredible - I've only ever seen dolphins in captivity but have swum with manatees which was fantastic
Very Cool Video. Thanks for posting Wayne. Here in North Florida we see dolphin almost every time we go out on the water but I have never seen more than 10 in a group and it's usually only 2 or 3. I've swam and been pulled by trained dolphins in the Keys and swam with and touched wild dolphin in Panama City, Fl. They are truly some of God's more awesome creations.
Hi All: Today's video deals with the upcoming Corvette C7 and Hitler's rant. It is a bit racy with adult language so do not begin unless you can stomach that kind of thing? Wayne
Wayne , I wonder who bankrolled that video ? They went to a lot of trouble. A Corvette owner's group ? Bob Lutz ? Funny as hell , though.
Hi All: Tangled and Wounded, Dolphin 'asked' Hawaii Diver for Help A dolphin tangled in fishing line sought the help of a diver in the waters of Hawaii earlier this month. The video shows the diver, Keller Laros, spending the better part of eight minutes tending to the dolphin. Keller was leading a group of snorkelers for a manta ray dive experience off the Big Island's Kona International Airport when the dolphin sought him out for help. Keller Laros: Wayne

Hi All: RAM's Super Bowl Ad is still the best commercial out there right now... God Made a Farmer And on the eighth day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, "I need a caretaker." So God made a farmer. God said, "I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, milk cows, work all day in the field, milk cows again, eat supper, then go to town and stay past midnight at a meeting of the school board." So God made a farmer. God said, "I need somebody willing to sit up all night with a newborn colt and watch it die, then dry his eyes and say, ‘Maybe next year,' I need somebody who can shape an ax handle from an ash tree, shoe a horse with hunk of car tire, who can make a harness out hay wire, feed sacks and shoe scraps. Who, during planting time and harvest season will finish his 40-hour week by Tuesday noon and then, paining from tractor back, put in another 72 hours." So God made the farmer. God said, "I need somebody strong enough to clear trees and heave bales, yet gentle enough to yean lambs and wean pigs and tend the pink-comb pullets, who will stop his mower for an hour to splint the leg of a meadowlark." It had to be somebody who'd plow deep and straight and not cut corners. Somebody to seed, weed, feed, breed, and brake, and disk, and plow, and plant, and tie the fleece and strain the milk, . Somebody who'd bale a family together with the soft, strong bonds of sharing, who would laugh, and then sigh and then reply with smiling eyes when his son says that he wants to spend his life doing what Dad does. "So God made a farmer."
Hi All: With regards to the RAM Super Bowl Commercial "So God Made a Farmer" video embedded above, RAM has a touching update. Ram Truck Brand Reaches 'Farmer' Video Viewing Goal in Less Than One Week $1 million donation to National FFA programs geared toward fighting hunger in communities across the country. -- Ed. "So God Made a Farmer" More than 18 million views (as of today) of RAM Trucks two-minute ‘Farmer’ video inspired by the emotionally stirring ‘So God Made a Farmer’ tribute delivered decades ago by legendary radio broadcaster Paul Harvey and featuring all original photography. It took less than a week to reach the 10 million view milestone equating to the $1 million donation. As of Feb. 14, the “Farmer” video has been viewed more than 18 million times at RAM keep plowing and of course the YouTube and millions of more times on other sites. The video also launched the Ram Truck brand’s 2013 “The Year of the Farmer” campaign aimed at bringing national attention to the significance of the American farmer. The brand enhances its long-standing partnership with the National FFA Organization (formerly known as Future Farmers of America) with this year-long, multi-tiered initiative. Together with agricultural equipment manufacturer Case IH, Farms.com and other brand partners, Ram set out to raise awareness and generate funds for FFA hunger relief efforts in local communities across America. The “Farmer" video was inspired by the stirring “So God Made a Farmer” tribute delivered by legendary radio broadcaster Paul Harvey and used as a national anthem in grassroots videos created by farm families. To honor American farmers, the Ram Truck brand set out to create even greater awareness, support and appreciation for farming families, communities and providers. The brand commissioned 10 noted photographers to document American farm life, yielding a beautiful and comprehensive catalog of farming images. Many of these artful and compelling still images provide the visual mosaic for the video; Harvey’s passionate oration provides the narration. Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, Chrysler Group LLC: National FFA Organization CEO Dr. Dwight Armstrong: The photographers shot images throughout the United States over the course of 25 days with 35 still photographs used in the video. Many more of the commissioned images will appear in a book the Ram Truck brand plans to publish later this year, creating a beautiful and comprehensive collection of original agriculture, farming and family farm photography. The book will provide a broad view of the agricultural community and lifestyle. Ram will contribute a portion of book proceeds to agriculture and hunger related efforts across the country. Additional details and timing for the book are still being finalized.
Hi All: On the heels of MB/Cigarette racing hyper quick all-electric off-shore race boat (Mercedes Goes Off-shore racing with an All-Electric), the world’s fastest all-electric boat is a much less expensive project with Michael Bontoft behind the wheel. This was 2008 so the current all-electric may be much higher? Wayne
