I remember the "Good old days" when my favorite E0 station only charged an extra 7 cents for ethanol free.
When was that? They've been adding ethanol off and on for decades in some regions of the US. Ford was pushing it for octane boosting in opposition to lead.
Ah yes... That's what they call a Bronx Margarita. Instead of adding tequila, they just give you a glass of lime juice and shoot you a couple of times with a stolen handgun with its serial number filed off.
Thirteen years later, E15 fuel is beginning to be available here, and I'm wondering if anyone has used E15. If so, how did it compare to E10 as far as MPG and price ? E0 is not an option.
Hmmmm. I hadn't researched non-ethanol gasoline for many years. I found a station in Plano IL (just 19 miles from me) that has it. I may call them and ask some questions. I usually don't go more than a mile out of my way for ANYTHING , but maybe in the name of science ?
Hi Edwin: If you can avoid it, avoid it. If only we had access to E0 prices like I saw in Amarillo this afternoon in either Southern CA or Illinois.. Wayne
