My mom just bought these Michelins, then got rear ended. They have 2833 miles on them. She's asking $400. Wheels are off a 2005 malibu. http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab291/lotsofmiles/Snapbucket/A4BBE20B-orig.jpg[/IMG [IMG]http://i873.photobucket.com/albums/ab291/lotsofmiles/Snapbucket/A39A81B3-orig.jpg
You certainly are thorough about documenting things. Good job. If I needed tires for the Ody, this would be great. It has 225-60-16 tires, and this is just barely smaller. The ones I have are still at half tread, though.
The car doesn't look any where near totalled. What is the connection to the tire sale. And what are those rims. I'm confused.
Wheels and tires came off that malibu. Mom just put them on in September, then got hit last week. She's trying to get a couple bucks back by selling the tires and wheels. She spent just over $500 on the tires. Ins co said over $8000 in damages. And Pale- thanks for noticing. I feel it ads a little credibility to the ad to show some proof. It's one thing to say 2800 miles, but I can show it too.
The tire size - 215-60-16 - fits most current midsize cars - Current Malibu, Fusion, Sonata, Camry, etc. The wheels are another story. They're the odd 5x110 bolt pattern and so they're GM-only - Midsize Chevy/Pontiac/Saturn (Aura/LS), some compact GM (Cobalt/G5 5-lug, HHR, Astra), and Saab/Opel. There are enough GM Delta/Epsilon cars out there on the road to make these tires/wheels a good option for someone who needs new tires before the real snow hits.
Just to clarify, $400 is for wheels and tires . She'd like to sell all together. But if they sit a month or so I can probably talk her into dismounting tires and selling them separate
I'm going to WI next week. Happy to bring them along for the ride and deliver if you're close by the route...
