Hi Garth: Gotta love that diesel! It would have blown a big hole in the WR250X's capability for sure! In addition, you could IB it and still pull over 100 mpg. The WR could not do that as we experienced firsthand. Been trying to ride that diesel for over a year and a half but when I call and leave a message, nobody ever returns the phone call :ccry: Good Luck Wayne
Craig stated that the emission certification is due to be issued very soon. Not sure how they licensed it for this event but, when it's officially road worthy they'd be nuts not you have you crack some 600+ mile tanks out of it. I'm guessing the retail price will be north of $15k so it will take some serious miles (or pride) to pay for one on fuel savings over a regular KLR. Hey, it's just the start though. My dream bike is a diesel Dan Gurney Alligator. Gotta figure out how to add pictures.
