I bought the Scan Gauge II from this website in Nov 2008. It worked great on my Chrysler 300. I just got a Toyota Prius, so I don't need it anymore. Works great! Comes with booklet that explains how to program it. Also included is cable and Scan Gauge II display. I left the velcro attached, in case you wanted to use it. Please email with questions Brion
Actually, there is a lot for you to use the SG for in a Prius -- take a look around at the uses for ignition timing (SHM for high fuel economy at highway speeds) and the fact that you can use RPM to determine when the engine truly is off.
As Sean mentioned, the Scangauge is a very valuable tool in a Prius. If you have a gen II, the x-gauge programming for the SOC )State of Charge and charging is helpful.
Thanks for the advice. My primary use for the SGII was the avg MPG for a trip, which I can get now from my Prius, so I'd still like to find a buyer.
I have a Prius and have 2 Scanguages. I think it's one of the reasons I'm averaging 75+ for my lifetime average.
Yes, I believe. Mine was April 2007 and did not have the feature, and they offered free upgrades for purchases after June or so. Was it introduced at Hybridfest 2007?
