According to the image in the listing, 94954mi @ 50.2mpg We already know a MT Insight is worth 200+mpg on at least some of your routes, Larry...
If you are asking about the IMA battery, I don't know. The 12V has been replaced. The local Honda dealer here in Seattle told me that they can't access the service history on this vehicle. I have a hard time believing that...I wanted to know if the IMA system had been touched. It seems to work just fine, I'm also comparing it to my Silver 2000 MT and how it functions.
Also, if anyone in IC land works at a Honda dealer I wouldn't mind if you posted any work that has been done under warranty or recall to this car on this thread. The VIN # is JHMZE1371YT003425
hmmm, seems to me i remember wayne getting excited about that number when he and i went out on the day of the FE challenge down there.
That was a 1.1L / 100km, right? I calculate that to be 214 mpg, but the resolution is so coarse, it could be anywhere from 205 to 225.
By the way, all the IMA components have been replaced...just called my local (Michigan) Honda dealer and he was able to tell me about it. The work was done at 86,000 miles
All of them?? Perhaps you mean just the BCM, the MCM, and the HV battery? Regardless, that is good to hear. It should be ready for many many trouble free miles with a non-aggressive driver at the wheel.
Last week in Washington State....willing to part with car for $8,000 FIRM. Am in the Everett area for those that are local that are interested.
Received alot of interest...no one was close to the worth of the car.It is currently being shipped back to my home in the thumb area of Michigan.I'd sell it to someone that isn't just playing around.I'll keep checking this forum or someone can privately reply to me.I'm leaving Seattle around 4PM PST today and will check my e-mail and this forum when I get to a hotel at night. The car should have been sold already....a nice low mileage Citrus Yellow that I call "Alf"
Technically its worth is determined by what a buyer is willing to pay. Right now that isn't as much as if gas prices were through the roof and the economy were doing OK. What were you asking?
I'm selling it for $9,000 OBO.....definitely a great car.If it doesn't sell and I get another job I'm gonna mint it out with new paint, leather seats and a killer stereo.
