Wanted SG new or used

Hi everyone.

I am looking for a new or used scangauge, either original or sgII - doesn't matter, just one in good working condition. So if you have an old one from a previous or upgraded to sgII now is your chance to get it off the shelf and back on the road.

Here is the catch, I don't really have the cash to purchase one outright (or I'd just buy one from Wayne and get my cleanmpg.com sticker too), but I am willing to trade for what I can get...... tools.

I will trade a comparable amount to be agreed upon by both parties 1 sg or sgII for other members choice of any new (or when available and acceptable used) tool sold by SnapOn, Matco, Mac, or Cornwell tools. So here is your chance to get your hands on some premium or a specialty tools to keep your car on the road and help me in my quest to make the Blazer fsp hit some real mpg numbers.

Perhaps you do have the cash for a Scangauge and just don’t know it yet.

Think of savings as unrealized profit. I pulled this data from the data you posted in your log. I added what you would have spent if you were getting EPA rated mileage



So far you have recorded $62 in unrealized profit. IF you were to capture that profit... You would be 1/3 the way to the cost of a Scangauge.
AND! Once you get a Scangauge, it will help you increase the savings (unrealized profit).

 

Wow!!!!! That's a great piece of work there, Allen thanks. I knew I was saving money - I'm just usually too busy beating up MINIs with my computer to do anything else productive with it.

However I just don't have the means to buy an sg outright, but I do have allot of unused credits and awards with the tool trucks - and after 15+ years I don't really need another set of screwdrivers, wrenches or sockets. Heck, I spend most of my days with the computer stations doing diag or software work.:Banane37:

I was just hoping to barter with someone for this as any money saved on my end is taken up by other obligations that forced me into this darn 4x4 fsp in the first place.

I have an absurd amount of credits and bonus awards with the tool trucks that I just don't really need right now as much as I could use an SG. I figured I'd see if anyone out there could use the trade for tools if they were interested.

I would be willing to trade $250.00 worth of tools in trade for an SG, a pretty darn good deal if anyone out there is interested.

 

Oh my. This offer is very tempting. As much as I'd love new (or used) tools I'm not sure I need them. Dang.

 

You could do what I did and when tax time comes around set aside some of that money for the SG. Just since March I have saved about $70 (assuming I would be at 35 MPG w/o the SG).
