Those that know me are aware I have rehomed alley cats. Once again, I'm trying to find a loving home. After a day and a half at the Insight Marathon in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, I left the hotel. It's on I35 at exit 214, where it intersects at US 60, I left at 3pm and only 200 or 300 yards southbound on the interstate, I saw some roadkill. Pulled over and while wounded, I put it in my car and took it back to the hotel. Wayne and I were pondering about what to do.... I'll admit like a jackrabbit I nipped a few months ago, the thought of finishing it off entered my mind, but decided it was both unnecessary and unethical to kill it off. Besides, I don't think it's going to reproduce. Anyway, I thought it best not to let it rot on the shoulder of the interstate. Maybe one of you could find a home for it. Warning - like a feral cat, it should not be considered civilized. Here it is. Video (MPG - 0.5 MB)
Hmmm... the first pic clearly shows many reasons not to use the breakdown lane unless absolutely necessary... way too much tire-hazardous crap accumulates over there. This item being no exception, since the potential fracture lines could run any number of weird ways inside... . _H*
Hi All: ___That creature in need of a loving home is now displayed at Randall’s (or it is in his trash by now ) and should be displayed prominently until such time the next event where somebody takes out the 2,250 mile tank I have some pics to process and one of them shows the poor thing under Randall’s Insight’s left front wheel at the point of fuel starvation. I thought it made for a good story anyway. ___Good Luck ___Wayne
