I agree! I particularly like the sound of that 6spd manual transmission with higher ratios for 4th, 5th, and 6th!! Too bad it won't make it over here.
Sounds like some of the stuff I've done to my car. Grill block, underbody panelling, wheel spoilers, and other smoothing of the airflow around the wheel housing. Of course, I've gone a lot further down that path then they dared to. All combined with efficient gearing for mpg's. That's the way a manual should be geared. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd geared so if you need it, you can run it up close to the redline in each gear before shifting to the next, until you reach the highest expected highway speeds, then the remaining higher gears geared for efficient low-rpm highway cruising. None of these 5 speeds where 5th is spinning 3400rpm at 60mph like you see in all of the recent small cars sold in this country. I'm looking forward to the day when I can buy a car that's as aerodynamically efficient as mine without having to modify it myself. Of far, Aptera looks like the only candidate. On my car, on those rare times that I need max accel, its 1st to 35mph, 2nd to 65mph, then into 5th for 2100 rpm cruising at 65mph. So I get 10 sec 0-60 times combined with efficient cruising rpm's. Why can't they offer that in the modern Honda manual transmissions.
