Mazda?s new CAT uses 70% less precious metals to achieve the same emissions
Hiroshima, Japan - Mazda today announced it will be the first automotive manufacturer to use single-nanocatalyst* technology in the production of automobile catalytic converters. This highly durable new catalyst significantly reduces the amount of precious metals needed to purify vehicle exhaust gases. It will be introduced in the all-new Mazda3 which will commence sales globally this year.
