Crude settles at $69.85, lowest in over 13-months

Crude oil for November delivery fell $4.69, or 6.3 percent, to $69.85 a barrel, the lowest settlement since late August of 2007. Gasoline for November delivery declined 16.02 cents, or 8.9 percent, to settle at $1.622 a gallon on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the lowest in over 20 months. Gasoline US average falls by over 33 Cents to an average price of just $3.15 per gallon, lowest price since February 25. This price is still almost $0.39 above the price we paid at this time a year ago. The national average price has now fallen for four weeks in a row.
