BMW preps Battery Electrics for testing

Munich -- Over the next few months, the BMW Group will be carrying out various field tests on electrically powered vehicles to determine the alternative drive of the future. [b]Several hundred[/b] MINI brand vehicles are being prepped for the trials. The cars, built in the Oxford plant, will be modified accordingly in Munich.
