Ford Fiesta to be built in Mexico

2009 European and Asian production version of the Ford Fiesta 5-door hatch DETROIT -- Ford Motor Co. plans to build its new subcompact Fiesta in Mexico for sale in the U.S., a person familiar with Ford's production plans said Thursday. The person asked for anonymity because Ford wasn't expected to make the announcement until Friday.
