The Cummins 5.0L fills the white space between the HD Cummins, Duramax and PowerStroke and LD Ram EcoDiesel. The ISV5.0s peak torque arrives at 1600 RPM vs gas engines that do not hit peak until 4k+ RPM in some cases. The 5.0L is an 800 lb engine thanks to CGI block, aluminum heads and composite covers.
