Chevrolet Bolt - 200 Mile BEV Set For 2017 MY Release

2017 Chevrolet Bolt targets Tesla - $37,500 to start. Chevrolet sent a message to media and the world at the 2015 North American Auto Show with a doubling down commitment to electrification by introducing the 2017 Bolt Bev concept with more than 200 miles of all-electric range (AER) starting around $30,000 after the Fed Tax Credit. Following up on the slow selling Volt and Spark EV , the Bolt EV concept is designed to offer long-range performance across the globe. Drivers will be able to select operating modes designed for driving styles. The modes adjust accelerator pedal mapping, vehicle ride height and suspension tuning. The Bolt EV concept is also designed to support DC fast charging.
